Remarq is not in my Share menu.
Open Share on any screenshot or photo, scroll the app row to the end and tap More. Tap Edit, add Remarq to Favorites and drag it to the top. After that, every note is two taps away.
Recording does not start.
Remarq needs microphone access to record. Turn it on in the iOS Settings app, under Remarq. Also check that Start recording on Share is on in Remarq's own Settings.
The transcript is empty or wrong.
Check that Speech Recognition is allowed for Remarq in the iOS Settings app, and that the transcription language in Remarq's Settings matches the language you speak. The recording is kept either way, so nothing you said is lost.
Why does Remarq ask for Photos?
It is optional. Photos access lets you add items from inside the app and lets Remarq find the original of a video you shared, so your notes stay with it. Sharing to Remarq works without it.
My notes do not show up on my other device.
Both devices need to be signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on for Remarq. Syncing through iCloud can take a few minutes, longer on a slow connection.
Can you see my notes?
No. Remarq has no server and no account. Your notes, recordings and transcripts stay on your device and in your own private iCloud, where only you can reach them.
How do I delete everything?
Delete a note in the app to remove it everywhere it syncs. Deleting the app removes everything on that device; to remove the iCloud copy too, delete Remarq's data from your iCloud storage in the iOS Settings app.
